Stamen
GP03S, or the Stamen, is the ultimate machine in the Gundam 0083 Stardust Memories series.Younger Gundam fans who have never watched the series might have seen the Stamen kicking ass from the recent Gundam Evolve clips.
Among all the original Gundams (those of Universal Century), the Stamen is probably the first one that featured the forever-popular wing-like components on its back. Ever since then, the trend spread like a disease. From Nu Gundam to Freedom Gundam, everyone is infested.
Either with wings or without wings, I do like the Stamen very much. So much so I am seriously considering getting the 1/144 scale Stamen AND Dendrobium combo kit, if I can still find any. Last time I saw the monster kit on Ebay, the starting bid was a whooping US $300.00!
Anyway, as seen in the pictures, I have done very little modification to the kit. Various perforations are added. There are two spikes on its head that were taken out. A ugly "crack" that runs from one side of the head to the other was filled in. I never thought I would do this, but I also filled the panel lines the front of its thighs.
