Simple Living

Showing here is a weekend cabin by the coast. It was my first school project with a program (obviously a simple one). Life was much easier when projects don't involve codes and regulations. Budget and practicality were only as important as a penny under your car seat.

As seen in the pictures, there are two major volumes. The larger one is living space with a pre-fab fireplace. The smaller one is a bath. The space in between is for storage of all your weekend survival gears. To top it off you also get a deck accessed by ladder.

Both the program and design reflect a very minimalist yet unrestricted lifestyle. I imagine staying in such a cabin provides a sense of belonging and security of a permanent structure, in the same time offers a adventurous experience of a camping tent.
